Talk:One Foot in the Fade

Would it be okay if I made a redirect? It's a page for a book in a trilogy that already has a page so it doesn't look too fannish rn. Can be reverted later if there's stuff to add. --Alpha (talk) 12:51, 5 September 2022 (UTC)

All three books in the series have pages and don't have fandom info on them: see Dead Man in a Ditch and One Foot in the Fade. I think they could be turned into redirects for the moment if no one has fannish commentary to add. If there is sufficient fan commentary/meta/responses/fanworks in reaction to individual titles, then it's fine to expand on them, but they should use Template:ProfessionalWorks instead of the fandom infobox if it's the same fandom. Fan commentary on individual titles would also be fine to put on the main fandom page, which looks a little sparse. I'm also concerned by the "summary" and "new characters" header here--that looks like too much canon detail and a canon-oriented approach rather than a fandom-oriented approach. --aethel (talk) 22:39, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
The headings at least make it seem like someone planned to add fandom activity/commentary about this book specifically, but I would also question whether that commentary would fit better on main fandom page. (Actually asking here, I don't know anyting about this book series or the fandom around it). -- Quaelegit (talk) 08:37, 7 September 2022 (UTC)
As the fandom seems to be little according to the article, I'd say all three books can be covered in the main trilogy article so all the info is in one place instead of scattered around. For now all Harry Potter books are redirecting to the main article too. --Alpha (talk) 17:26, 7 September 2022 (UTC)
