Welcome and info about Fanlore
Hi Astrolatte and Katb, thank you both so much for your recent edits to this page. It's obvious you know a lot about this pairing and how it developed over time, and it's great to see that detail added to the page. As new editors, I just wanted to say welcome and give you some information about Fanlore. This wiki is very much focused on how the fandom interacted with the pairing - theories, headcanons, fan campaigns, fanworks, fan comments about the pairing are all welcome to be included in the fandom section of the page. We also have a plural point of view policy, which means we also include a short summary of any controversies or anti-shipping within the fandom, and reasons why this may have happened.
As a result of our focus on fan activities, the canon section is usually the shortest section on a page. (This is where we differ from a lot of wikis.) I love the season by season breakdown you've added to the canon section, but we usually don't include such detailed analysis of canon. Instead we often link to meta analysis, on Livejournal, Tumblr, Youtube or any external site. For example, we could include an archived link to an external breakdown of all Klance's interactions in season 1, and then have other links for subsequent seasons. You could even host the content you've added here on your own social media if you're comfortable with that. Let me know what you think, or if you've any editing questions. Thank you for the information provided, we have removed the seasonal breakdowns and left only the canon overview. If we will find/remember other interesting fanlore tidbits in the future we will add them to the fanon section. Also I'm not sure how talk works so this is the best I can do with replies - katb

- Hi Auntags! We've changed the canon section but don't see the restoration of the ship war line. Was that removed again? That hasn't been removed by either of us since the first edit. Let us know if there's something we need to do on our side. -- Astrolatte (talk) 18:36, 11 August 2020 (UTC),
- We've been waiting for it to get restored and it never did. Once it shows up, I want to suggest moving the ship war info in the fanon section as it is part of the fandom activity and more fitting --Katb (talk) 18:41, 11 August 2020 (UTC)
