Game and Page Name

FeralHeart's naming is a tricky one... Because Impressive Title became FeralHeart I named the page after its most modern name, FearlHeart. But the name for its old version is so different I'm a bit conflicted. I don't think Impressive Title needs a separate page since besides a few visual and policy updates FearlHeart is basically the exact same game and run by the same person with the same fan base. Should there simply be a redirect from Impressive Title to FearlHeart, or should this page be re-named to something like "Impressive Title/FeralHeart?" Patchlamb (talk) 19:55, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

Edit: or another option. On Wikifur what they did is have the main page as Impressive Title where all the main info of the fan base and game were held, with a separate page for FeralHeart, except the FeralHeart page was pretty bare bones, leaving all the useful info back on the Impressive Title Page... someone better at organization help me ToT Patchlamb (talk) 20:02, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

I think a redirect works best. This comes up often, for example when creating pages for websites, because they often changed names too without becoming a different page. My solution usually is to stick to the most prominent name, mention the other names in paranthesis (also known as XXX) and redirect these names to the page. --Doro (talk) 07:15, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
Thanks! If that's how it's been done before then it's probably good to keep it up. I'll make a redirect then. Patchlamb (talk) 17:56, 12 August 2020 (UTC)

Lots of Content Removed?

ThatOneDude, it seems like you've removed a lot of content. Some revisions are helpful as they revised the wording of certain paragraphs. However, you removed a lot of content regarding FeralHeart Unleashed (completely removed its info from the custom server sections and mentions of it later in the article). You also completely removed quotes (mostly in the footnotes) from players of FeralHeart who purposefully gave me that information with the specific intention of it being used on the Fanlore. Those players gave me their opinions on purpose for them to be used here. Their opinions may not have been happy ones, but that is their opinion, so I'm not sure they should just be removed completely. You also removed all reference to the confession blogs. Those are also not very happy, but they exist and I don't believe they should be ignored. The wording can still be re-worked if it appears too personalized, but I don't believe the mention of the confession blogs' existences should be ignored like that. You also removed a LOT, if not almost all, of the issues that the players on the forum told me about (again with the specific intentions of being shared here). You are new so I'm assuming this is an accident, but even when the game's players have a negative opinion, those opinions are still offered on Fanlore articles in the same way positive opinions are. Opinions cannot be removed for simply disagreeing with them. Also, you removed quite a few reference links, even ones that seemed amicable towards the game, which I'm a tad confused by.

I'm going to be reverting your edit because they removed a lot of info I believe was important (and imparted to me by the players when I asked them for opinions for this page) and because you just removed mostly the negative opinions of the game made by its players If you would like to give your reasoning for why you believe that info should not be shared here, then please feel free to. Maybe we can work together to make parts that sound too personal less personalized, but we cannot remove the players' opinions just because someone else disagrees with them. Thanks for starting this discussion, Patchlamb. I left a message at TheOneDude's talk page, suggesting that if they think information is not relevant to a page, they should start a talk page discussion before making extensive changes. Hopefully they'll find this page and take you up on your generous offer. I agree that it is important to keep the Plural Point of View on this page. As per Fanlore's PPOV policy, we don't remove fans' opinions but it's always an option to add in alternate or opposing opinions. --Auntags (talk) 20:38, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
