Talk:Entertainment Agency
Looking over this article, I'm unsure how relevant it is to Fanlore. Aside from the page beside short as-is, there's not much information on this page that's particularly fannish- linking to the Wikipedia article on talent agencies and such may be a better solution. - I think it can be potentially can be made fannish, but I agree so far it isn't. But it is essentially K-Pop equivalent of The Powers That Be, so there might be some merit to it having an article if improved? Else articles on the individual companies. Some ideas -
- Company stans - people who are fans of specific companies
- Why do kpop fans have the habit of “stanning” a company ? (Reddit meta/discussion)
- I never understood why company stans are even a thing in K-Pop. (Reddit meta/discussion)
- Company stans are worse than Solo Stans (Reddit meta/discussion)
- Fans vs Companies
- Various fan boycotts - e.g. against Blockberry Creative (LOONA), against SM Entertainment (RIIZE)
- There is a trend in South Korean when fans are annoyed at companies to send 'protest trucks', e.g EXO --Fitz (talk) 21:58, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- Kpop offices of certain big companies have also become a bit of a tourist destination especially for international fans, and I found this fanwork: https://youtube.com/shorts/AZqhwQ6F8Xs?si=EJ386SY2IIUqQaVf which I thought might go on this page some time in the future. (edit: slightly irrelevant statment follows) Big three / big four are somewhat fan-given titles rather than a formal designation in my understanding.
