This page is tagged with Tropes & Genres, which is for fanwork tropes and genres. Does that mean there will be a section on fans creating fanworks that feature dating sims? The AO3 tag link indicates that fans do make fanworks about dating sims, but the page doesn't currently address this topic.--aethel (talk) 00:14, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
- The article to me looks more geared towards dating sims as a (western?) synonym of Otome Game rather than fan works that are dating sim games(eg: text-based cyoa like this...i don't know what fandom this is) or dating sim inception of Cinderella phenomenon / dating sim snippets of non-dating sim games or fan games focused on canon-as-dating sim(yuri on ice example), isekai-ing into a dating sim (qzgs example)/ playing dating sims(avengers oneshot). But I also see the fandom as source type category so maybe they just mean fic of dating sims?
