redirects will be needed for the various spellings for this convention. Ex: ConneXions

Actually, ConneXions takes you right to this page.Mrs. Potato Head 11:51, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
When you type it in, the intext link of it like this ConneXions still appears red though.--Ratcreature 11:56, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Renaming page?

There is a flag for Gardeners asking for this page to be moved. See below

the Convention has renamed itself "DC Slash", please change the Page title To "ConneXions (now DC Slash)" so that people searching either name can find the correct place without dealing with a redirect.

We don't really have a naming convention for events/sites that change their names. So I wanted to start a discussion about it.

Do we want to rename the page? Or, alternatively would a separate page for DC Slash be more appropriate? From reading the page, I think the purpose of this event has changed since 2019, with DC Slash not holding conventions? Correct me if I'm wrong on that point! --Auntags (talk) 19:25, 23 October 2021 (UTC)

The original page should retain its title. There can be a new separate page for DC-Slash. Each page can have a note explaining the relationship between the two, which according to DC-Slash, that group is "The original members were people who used to attend ConneXions." - DC-Slash MPH (talk) 20:17, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
That is how we did it with Wincon - which became Confabulation. "...2006-2015 (For 2017 onward, see CONfabulation) MeeDee (talk) 21:13, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
