Taken by the Dark is Star Wars TPM slash story by Nonie Rider. It has a fanfic cover by Laura Shapiro.
Summary: A vampiric Darth Maul attacks young Obi-Wan. How far will Qui-Gon go to save him?
Warning: DARK. Angst, squick, approx. rape, and death. That dark enough?Pairings: Maul/Obi-Wan, Maul/Qui-Gon
Spoilers: See the movie first, or it'll make both movie and story less fun. I mean it!
Note: Alternate universe, both for plot events and for the vampiric nature of the Sith, which is entirely my own variant. Also, at this point Darth Maul has not revealed the double nature of his lightsaber.
The story has two alternate endings:
- Epiphanies by Mac. This story also featured fanart by Mac when it was archived at Mac & Anna's Place.
- Taken AU: Taken Into Night by Nonie Rider. Summary: What might have happened if Qui-Gon failed.
