Darth Maul was a Dark Lord of the Sith who was mentored by Darth Sidious. He grew to a vicious warrior with a double-bladed lightsaber. He debuted in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, where he was defeated and seemingly killed in a duel with Obi-Wan Kenobi. He has also appeared in Solo: A Star Wars Story, the animated series Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars: The Clone Wars, as well as in several video games.
During the Clone Wars, Maul launched an assault on the planet Mandalore.
