Reactions and Reviews: Issue 1

[From the Heart]: It is a simple post-Sweet Revenge story that isn't earth-shattering or suprising or anything that will turn the world on its head. Instead, it's caring and sharing and just living a life that was once taken for granted. [1]

[Gifts of the (L.A.) Magi]: I love this story because it makes me cry every time I read it. It’s short, sweet and it’s a definition of Starsky & Hutch for me. [2]

Issue 2

Starsky and Hutch Special Gen Collection 2 contains stories published through 1999. It has 153 pages.

Reactions and Reviews: Issue 2

[Honor Thy Father]: ...it's time to look at the Hutchinson side of the family. John Hutchinson has come to Bay City to visit his son and see just what kind of life he's made. First impressions are often full of misjudgements and this is the case here as well. But when he gives his son a second look, what will he really see? [3]

Reactions and Reviews: Issue 9

[Thirty Minutes]: K Hanna Korossy is a wonderful and prolific writer, and she excels at hurt/comfort. Thirty Minutes is a great example of her work. It’s a tightly written account of the first half hour after Starsky's been shot in a bank robbery -- told from Starsky's point of view as he fades between the grave reality of his rescue and dreamlike recollections of a falling-out with Hutch, all with the thirty-minute clock running. [4]

[Company in the Darkness]: When an explosion blinds and deafens Starsky, Hutch is his only anchor. My favorite hurt/comfort story, it is awesome. [5]
