Sorry Tails if This Looks Gay to the Viewers is a redraw meme. Fanartists, cosplayers and/or photomanip editors parody the 10th page of the second chapter of the widely known, popular Sonic the Hedgehog fancomic Tails Gets Trolled. The comic began in 2011 and is still ongoing as of 2024.
In the panel, Sonic the Hedgehog has rescued Tails after he was attacked. Sonic breaks the fourth wall and says the line to reassure his friend.

While this particular meme is not the most memed part about the fancomic, (by a long shot,) it is one of the most redrawn. It is widely applicable to many existing characters and is well regarded for being hilarious out of context.
