Dick Grayson/Slade Wilson, also referred to as Sladin, is the non-canon slash pairing of Dick Grayson (Robin/Nightwing) and Slade Wilson (Deathstroke) in a number of fandoms associated with DC Comics.

Canon

Dick Grayson is the first Robin and a talented acrobat. Slade Wilson is a mercenary called Deathstroke the Terminator. The two do not always appear in the same source text, considering the DC universe contains cartoons, comics, live action films and television.

In the Teen Titans animated series, Slade kidnaps Grayson and blackmails him into serving as his apprentice. The apprentice arc is often used in fic by fans of the pairing, especially in darkfic where Slade sexually assaults or tortures Grayson.[1]

Fandom

As a hero/villain ship, the pairing has a large amount of dark, dubiously consensual, or abusive interpretations. However, many write Sladin as an unconventional but healthy relationship. Such works will often use an outsider's perspective on the odd pairing.

Fic for the pairing sometimes features Dick as the whumpee or woobie of the pairing.[2]
