Master and Man is a fanfiction series written by Amsves, from September 2018 to February 2019. The series as a whole is rated M for Mature Audiences, with archive ratings of No Archive Warnings Apply and Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings. Its full name is technically Master and Man (and Other Stories), in reference to a collection of stories by Leo Tolstoy, but the full title is unwieldy, so the shorthand Master and Man is preferred. The series was written as a series of fills for Bad Things Happen Bingo.
Master and Man starts during the Apprentice arc of the first season, and focuses on the relationship between Dick Grayson and Slade Wilson as Robin and Slade, respectively. It is a much darker take on how the arc could have ended and the show progressed. There is endgame Sladin, though readers should beware it is not a healthy depiction of a relationship.
