Excerpts

Nom de Plume:

From the Thomas Harris novel Hannibal, he describes Clarice's jewelry as "cabochon emeralds" and I liked the term "cabochon" and since my real name begins with a K, I merely made the letter switch.

What was your first experience with fanfic?

Star Trek TNG; I love Picard & Data

What made you into a Skinneroticist?

On the Squeeze/Tooms tape, there's a few interviews by CC and the cast and Mitch Pileggi introduces himself as A.D. Skinner and I was like…dayum! He's fine as everlasting hell! Since then, I was hooked. I could never understand why Scully didn't slingshot herself at him. I would have.

What are your top five all-time favorite stories?

1. As Soft as a Kitten's Armpit/The Kitten's Claws by Forbes

2. The Caveat Emporium by Red Valerian

3. Eavesdropping by Flynn

4. Sahara Nights by Lorre Dufae

5. Afterwards by Melynda Jensen

What was the first X-files/Skinner story that you wrote and what inspired it?

Two came to me simulatenously. The first one is a Scully/Doggett fic entitled "The End of a Love Affair" and the second is a Scully/Skinner fic entitled "Higher." I like both Skinner and Doggett and would be perfectly happy if Scully ended up with either one of them; they're so much better for her than Mulder can ever be.

Where do your ideas come from? What inspires you?

Conversation, movies, commercials, everywhere. Inspiration? The characters. Skinner. Look at him. Scully. She needs a real man in her life.
