Autumn Tysko is an X-Files fan, were one of the editors, and frequent contributor, to the long-running newsletter News for the OBSSEsed. She also reviewed many episodes of the original series as well as the first X-Files movie.

Her reviews often included behind the scene information in a section called "Random Musings", for examples script differences and sections like Frank's Fashion Spot ("brought to you by the folks who care what Scully wears") and the Doggett Manly Man Meter (introduced in season 8).

In her 1999 review for season 6 episode Biogenesis she may have been one of the first persons to use the term manpain to describe this plot device, which then most likely spread from OBSSE and ATX to other fandoms:

Duchovny certainly has that man pain look down as the voices in his head started talking to him.

REVIEW: Autumn's "Biogenesis" Review - SPOILERS by 5/17/99 by Autumn T, posted to ATX on 5/17/99[1]
