September is a 43-page Harry/Johnny novel by Ruth Kurz.
It is part of the Davis Diary and Callahan Calendar, a ] series of stories documenting a year (1975) in the life of Harry and Johnny.
On the title page: "We scar together?"
A summary: "Johnny's gallery showing, or Callahan'll handle it."
It contains many black and white screenshots of Clint Eastwood and David Soul in various productions (some possibly manipulated), as well as a single illo by the author. Also included are many other photos of various actors who were regularly fan-casted into these stories. Some examples are Paul Michael Glaser (as Ben Stein) and his real-life wife (as Miriam Stein), Gary Sandy (as Sandy), and Robert Redford (as Richard).
The zine also has some song lyrics by Willie Nelson: "Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground."
