Some Excerpts
Read [fanfiction] since the early 1970s; Beauty & the Beast finally got me to start writing it.
Converted to the Church of Jim & Blair by exposure to those enthusiastic Sentinel fans at Friscon, and by reading other people's fanfic.
I lean more toward Blair (I lie, I *adore* Blair) because I'm an academic and so is/was he (and I was an anthro minor to boot); and because he's such an emotionally generous and complex character; and because my formative years were the 1960s and I love long hair on men. That said, I think the two of them *together* is what makes the magic!
Wrote a bunch of Beauty & the Beast gen stories in the late 80s-90s under my real name. Did art work & Poetry for K/S zines many years ago, under my real name--that was before the Internet! Went to several Zebracons...read a lot of S/H in the old days, also like Duncan/Methos; Due South slash; Xena/Gabrielle; Batman/Robin. Why? I'm a romantic, and as that commercial says, "Straight Is Boring."...unless one of them isn't quite human, of course. I still like Katherine/Vincent and Nick/Nat (Forever Knight)...well, Mulder/Scully too, but they almost qualify.
