Seah started out in fandom in the Doctor Who newsgroups, eventually moving to mailing lists in the early 1990s. After she joined the Due South lists, she took on a more active role as the third archivist for the Due South Archive, from 1995 to 1998. Her tenure is when the archive took on the name Hexwood, from the domain she hosted it on; the name stuck to the point that when the archive moved, it became known as Ex-wood.

She's the owner of Trickster, one of a handful of fan-owned servers in the 1990s. Trickster hosted a variety of mailing lists in the 1990s, including the first Sentinel list, Senfic, and FCA-L, a list dedicated to critical fannish discussion. Trickster also housed the Sports Night Archive, and still houses a variety of individual fan pages.

During the late 1990s she edited and published zines, including You Pay and Pay and Pay in due South fandom and Crossroads in Sentinel fandom (published in 2000).

Around 2000 she began to get interested in vids and by 2001 was vidding, pulling Margie in to collaborate. They vid together as Seah & Margie, aka Flummery.

She served on the concom for the first Due South RCW 139 convention in 1996, and also on the concom for several Vividcons.
