McKay/Keller refers to the romantic pairing of Rodney McKay and Jennifer Keller in the Stargate Atlantis fandom.
Jennifer Keller came to Atlantis in season 4 to fill the role of Chief Medical Officer after the death of Carson Beckett. While she was briefly interested in Ronon Dex, events in the episodes "Trio" and "The Shrine" revealed her attraction to Rodney and his affection for her. They finally got together in the earthside episode "Brain Storm".
Fandom
A lot of the negative response to this pairing is detailed in the entry for Jennifer Keller. In fandoms that have a very popular slash pairing, a canonical het pairing that includes one of the slash partners can often have a negative reception.
This resulted in many fics showing Rodney and Jennifer breaking up and Rodney then getting together with John, or Rodney breaking up with Jennifer because he realizes he's been in love with John all along, or even Jennifer breaking up with Rodney because she realizes that he is in love with John (or, more rarely, because she is in love with Ronon.) Many of these fics also feature John pining for Rodney.[1] Another common trope is that Rodney and Jennifer break up because Jennifer doesn't want children while Rodney does[2], or that Jennifer wants to stay on Earth after the season 5 ending and Rodney doesn't.
