Ringwench is perhaps best known for her Supernatural fanvids, but she has also made vids in other fandoms in the years prior to Supernatural, including Lost and Lord of the Rings. Her vids have won numerous awards. She also ran her own multi-fandom vid award site: Villainous Imagination Awards.
From her online bio: "I've been vidding for about 5 years. I started off in Buffy fandom, making vids using a really crappy editing program called Power Director Pro (it's even less user friendly and functional than WMM, if you can believe it). Most of my vids weren't even shown to anyone aside from my best friend for the first year or so as I didn't have hosting, so I didn't really get a lot of feedback on my work back then (so, needless to say, they aren't exactly my best work). I made about 15 vids in that fandom (some of which you can see on my Buffy Vids page--the others aren't going to see the light of day again) before moving on to making some movie vids for Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings."
In 2002 she created the lost vids LJ community and remained the moderator until 2007. In 2005 she created the supernaturalvid LJ community and remained moderator until 2010. In 2006 she helped assemble the Wincon vid show. In November 2007, she participated in the spnroundtable's "Ask The Vidder" Roundtable.
