Summary: All about Dean, his protectiveness toward Sam, and his motivations for fighting evil. Not intended to be slashy, but I suppose the subtext is there if you choose to see it that way.

A vid that focuses on Dean as sort of a general narration of his life and his place in the series, "Drive" puts together an interesting collection of clips that suggest a commitment to his work and his brother...I think this is a good vid, but I think it would benefit from a different music choice. Something more active and intense, to match the intensity of the clips you chose to portray Dean's life. Still, the narration is strong, and does a good job of illustrating Dean and his life. " [1]
You know, I first saw this vid YEARS ago, and I've rewatched it periodically since then, and it has just struck me that I don't know whether I ever gave you any feedback. So I've sought out your LJ, and this seems like an appropriate spot to say OMG YOU WIN THE INTERNETS. This remains one of my very favourite vids in any fandom, because it illuminates the relationship between the brothers so well, because the editing is so damn good, because the choice of song is SO damn apposite - really, you just NAIL the characters and their dynamics, and you break my little heart every damn time I watch it. Gah. And, hell, I went right out and bought the CD (which is by no means the first time a vid has sent me off in search of a band's music), so props to you there too. This song is now inextricably linked in my mind with Supernatural, and with everything you evoke in your vid. ~ pandarus in the LJ post.

I love the well-timed clip at 0:48, and also the double on-beat internal motion at 1:19 and 1:20 respectively, and again at 2:11, 2:12 and 2:13 with the gun discharges and then the guy hitting the wall. A great study of Dean and his relationship with Sam. Txlsplash: I've noticed that Supernatural has lots of very beautiful shots, and they are utilized in this video very well. Great lyric matches, both metaphorical and literal."[2]
First off....WOW. I love it, the flickering between scenes, all the important moments between the guys with all the angsty goodness. Damn, amazing video. Truly, I don't have the words to say just how great this is[1]
OMG I love it!! Really! REAAALLY love it! Excellent editing and piecing footage with the music. GREAT song choice too!... An masterpiece of emotions! :D And just to share...it's ALL my favorite, but one moment just sent a chill down my spine and that was towards the end where the roles seemed to reverse and Dean tossed the keys and it just looked SO DAMN GOOD! :)[1]
