Rick Grimes/Shane Walsh/Lori Grimes, also known as Grimalsh, is the poly pairing of Rick Grimes, Lori Grimes and Shane Walsh in The Walking Dead fandom.
Canon
TV Series
Rick, Shane and Lori are in a canonical love triangle. At the beginning of the series Rick and Lori are married with one child, Carl Grimes, and Rick and Shane are best friends and partners on the police force. In Season 1, Episode 1 Rick is shot during a police pursuit and slips into a coma, during which the Zombie Apocalypse occurs. Believing Rick to be dead Shane and Lori begin a romantic relationship. Rick wakes from his coma and searches for his family. When Rick is reunited with Lori and Carl, Lori ends her relationship with Shane. Near the beginning of Season 2 Lori discovers she is pregnant and is unsure of who is the father. Throughout Season 2 Shane and Rick are constantly struggling for leadership of the group of survivors. Shane questions Rick's ability to protect Lori and Carl, feeling that he would be a better husband and father. Near the end of Season 2 Shane plans to murder Rick, but Rick acts first, killing Shane. In Season 3 Lori gives birth to her baby, dying during a c-section. Rick is left alone to raise their children, Carl and Judith.
