Relationships

Pryce has no pairings or relationships of note exclusive to Pokémon fandom, (that is, popular ones created by fans.) He has had many ship names coined, however, and is shipped in small capacities in corners of the fandom. He had a previous relationship with Agatha, dubbed by English-speaking fans as ExpertShipping[1].

Subjects of Fannish Interest & Meta

Are You a Boy? Or Are You a Girl?

In Pokémon games after Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, and before Pokémon Sun and Moon, the game's professor would ask whether the trainer was a boy or a girl. This effective, if clunky, method helped let the player choose their gender during the game's opening cut-scene. Despite this first appearing after Professor Oak's debut, he often got the brunt of jokes surrounding this feature online. While some memes and fancomics showed Professor Oak as completely clueless, other showed him as a pervert for asking.

My Grandson, What's His Name? Shithead?

In Pokémon Red and Blue and Pokémon Fire Red and Leaf Green, the player could name their rival, Blue Oak. Because Blue's kind of a dick, many players named him profanities like Shithead (or Shithed with the games' character limit.)
