One Direction: Where We Are - The Concert Film is the second concert film by One Direction and is the sequel to One Direction: This Is Us. See Wikipedia for details.

History

Rumors of a sequel to This Is Us started in April 2014 as Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson were seen, followed by a camera crew, during their visit to the Christ the Redeemer in Brazil; meanwhile Liam Payne and Harry Styles were also followed by a camera crew during their visit to Machu Picchu. On July 22, 2014, the first teaser trailer was posted on the band's YouTube channel. It announced the worldwide limited theatrical release for 11 and 12 October 2014 only.

Fan Project

Ahead of time several fans were let into the stadium to put down a color for each seat. There were instructions to hold up the colors during the song "Right Now." The signs said "We are 1D Family" and it is a highlight in the film for many people. There were 115,931 in San Siro and most appeared to participate.
