Merle Dixon/Carol Peletier, also known as Marol, is the het pairing of Merle Dixon and Carol Peletier in The Walking Dead television fandom.
Canon
At the beginning of the series Merle and Carol are both members of the Atlanta quarry group. Merle is left on a roof top in Atlanta by Rick Grimes. Merle and Carol are reunited when he joins the prison group in Season 3. Merle and Carol talk, Merle says that Carol has changed and that she is a "late bloomer", Carol says maybe he is too and tells him to pick a side. Merle is killed by The Governor at the end of the season.
