Martial Arts is a general term used for many kinds of combat-related sports or skills, especially those of Asian origin. Karate, judo, jujutsu, and kendo are commonly referred to as "martial arts," but the term is also used to describe capoeira, savate, and sometimes wrestling and boxing.
They commonly appear in superhero and vigilante fandoms, but aren't rare in buddy cop fandoms, and can make an appearance in any fandom known for competence kinks.
