Sometimes I feel like the only person in the AC fandom who doesn’t ship Altair & Malik. It’s really squicky for me because Altair’s arrogance got Malik’s little brother killed by the Templars, AND Malik’s arm cut off, and in turn Malik’s report to Al Mualim cost Altair his Master Assassin title. Sure, by the end of the game they have a begrudging respect for one another, but I honestly don’t understand how people translate that to “I wanna bone you.”[1]
