Mona Ramsey was an slash fan fiction writer who wrote under a variety of names and across multiple fandoms. She is perhaps best known for her The Phantom Menace fan fiction under the name MonaR and her Starsky & Hutch fan fiction under the name of Reggie. She is also known for offering hosting space to authors who were looking for an author page of their own at Artists in Residence. She passed on July 24, 2010.
Influential Works
Mona posted the first Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan slash story to the Internet. The title was "Dark Desires" and it was posted the allslash mailing list before the release of The Phantom Menace movie in May 1999. Because the story pre-dated the movie, the Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan characters were drawn from the first two Jedi Apprentice novels.
