Look At My 'Girlfriend' is a Merlin/Arthur vid by Solanyxe (4:03 min). It won second place in the Camelot Music Video Awards 2009 in the category 'Humor'.
Summary: "Take a look at my 'girlfriend' / She's He's the only one I got / Not much of a 'girlfriend' / I never seem to get a lot" / "If that ain't love then I don't know what love is")
Merlin is Arthur's girlfriend and Arthur admits it all to his father. Uther is skeptical but Arthur is convinced Merlin is the one (even if he's complaining a lot about his 'girlfriend').
YouTube almost immediately blocked the video and it was uploaded to imeem and later BAM[1] instead. More than a year later the YouTube link is working again.[2]
Comments
- "I enjoyed the hell out of this. Uther's expression when he sees his new future son-in-law, the pancake clip, the never seem to get some moment - there wasn't a frame that's not spot on. This vid is a better fluff fic than most actual fluff i've read." (mint_amaretto)[3]
- "very good clips, excellent flash backs to ex-girlfriends, and just a nice capture of the humor of both show and song. Every time Patrick sang "Not much of a girlfriend" I could hear Arthur complaining about The Worst Manservant Ever." (zvi)[4]
