Aries Shion/Libra Dohko is a slash pairing between Libra Dohko and Aries Shion from Saint Seiya. Fans ship them because both characters have been friends for hundreds of years. In the scenes where they appear together, they seemed to have great respect for each other and have even cried for each other in the occasional scene.
Both characters appear together both in the original timeline, as well as in the spinoff Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas. In Saint Seiya: Next Dimension, the official sequel made by Masami Kurumada, which includes scenes that take place in he XVIII century Holy War, they are portrayed with a more juvenile attitude, both being newly promoted Gold Saints. In this arc, Shion has short hair and some artists prefer to draw him with this look. They also share some moments together in some of the videogames of the franchise.
This ship is the most popular for both characters on AO3 and is in the top ten pairings for the Saint Seiya Series category.

ShioDo day was decided by the Japanese fandom to be the tenth of April. As " と", the first character of tooka (tenth day) when added a diacritic it becomes "do" and April is "shigatsu" which is the first syllable of Shion's name. The tag 4月10日はシオ童の日 was used to post fanworks celebrating this day.
