Summary: Just because Yuuri isn't big on social media, doesn't mean his fans aren't. (aka a social media fic)
It is a social media fic that includes chat fic and multimedia elements. It follows Yuuri Katsuki's online fan-following, initially small, through the events of the series, including Yuuri's rise to success and his whirlwind romance with Victor Nikiforov. It includes online fan interactions and news articles viewing the events of the main narrative of the series from the outside.
Podfic
In March 2017 a two-and-a-half-hour multi-voice podfic of the fanfic was created. The cover art was created by Opalsong. The podbook file was created by fulldaysdrive.

Owing to the prevalence of Instagram and other types of social media in Yuri!!! on Ice, chatfic and other fanworks which centre around social media as a theme or plot device are common. Many fanwork creators imitate the format of social media in their works, or include references to photos and videos going viral, or reference an individual skater's followers and fanbase. katsuki_fc wrote is considered a classic social media fic exploring the "Katsuki Yuuri Fan Club."
