• Shards of Light (Jason Walsh, an outcast in school and abused at home, hopes his grades will get him into college on scholarship and into a better future. Against the advice of the "cool kids," Jim befriends and defends Jason, even taking him home when he's nowhere else to go. The bullies retaliate, and as Jim heals with Jason's help, he finds connecting is easier with the right person.)
• Chasing Jason (Who we think we have to be and who we really are, are things sometimes in conflict, and the fallout can hurt people we'd never want to hurt, as both Jim and Jason find out when a closeted young football hero takes a chance, but is trapped by a reality he can't change. • Requiem for Brian (When Jim Street's SWAT team partner and lover chooses to break the law, it leaves Jim with no choice but to go after him, with disastrous results. Devastated, Jim calls his lifelong friend, NYPD detective Jason Walsh. Worried for his friend, Jason takes matters into his own hands and goes to fetch Jim back to New York, where he can keep an eye on him.
