Jackson Whittemore was a main character on the television show Teen Wolf. He was a high school student at Beacon Hills High School and was co-captain of the lacrosse team. His girlfriend was Lydia Martin. He was bitten by Derek Hale and eventually turned into a werewolf, though at first he transformed into a kanima, a type of were-lizard. He appeared in seasons 1 and 2 before leaving the show and returning briefly for a few episodes in season 6. He is portrayed by actor Colton Haynes.

Fandom

Pairings

Jackson is most commonly paired with his canon girlfriend, Lydia, though that pairing is often tagged in works where it is only a background relationship. His most popular non-canonical pairings are with Stiles Stilinski (one of the most popular characters in the fandom) or Danny Mahealani (his best friend, one of the show's openly gay characters).

In season 6b, Jackson is paired with Ethan. They have been living in London for a year and a half at that point. Both characters appear in the episode Werewolves of London.

Fanon

In canon, Jackson has been adopted by the Whittemore's. In fanon and often enough to be an Archive of Our Own tag, Jackson's biological father is considered to be Peter Hale.
