The Invaders is a Marvel Comics comic book title and the name of two fictional superhero teams in the Marvel Comics Universe.
Canon
Invaders first appeared The Avengers #71 (December 1969) in flashback stories set during World War II. Originally, Captain America (Steve Rogers), his sidekick Bucky Barnes, the original android Jim Hammond the Original Human Torch, the Torch's sidekick Thomas 'Toro' Raymond and Namor the Sub-Mariner were together as heroes opposing the forces of Nazism.
Invaders appeared in Spider-Man: The Animated Series and The Super Hero Squad Show.
