Namor/Jim Hammond is a slash ship between Namor the Sub-Mariner and Jim Hammond the Original Human Torch. Both characters started out as enemies when they first met in Marvel Mystery Comics (1939) #8 in the first ever superhero comic crossover in comic history. They introduced the concept of a shared comic universe. Over the last 80 years of comics they have become enemies to friends to lovers. Fire and Water they are the opposites attract trope.
