Harry Potter Slash Awards
Hogwarts Library presented the Harry Potter Slash Awards in 2001. Nominations were accepted from June 15, 2001, and voting began July 15th.
Gold, silver, and bronze awards were presented to stories in nine categories, and "Shipper Captains" awards were awarded to notable fans for two pairings. Categories included Harry/Draco, Sirius/Remus, f/f, rare slash, and several character-specific slash categories.
The awards were intended to be biannual (every spring and autumn), and it was later announced that they would instead be annual.[3] However, it appears that they were only ever held the once.
