Hinata x Kamukura, most known as Kamuhina, is a common pairing within Dangan Ronpa fandom. The ship is between Hajime Hinata and Izuru Kamukura. Kamkura is another form of Hinata, explained more on his Fanlore article. It has been shipped since Dangan Ronpa 2: Goodbye Despair was released in 2012.
The ship is more common in Japanese-speaking DR fandom than English-speaking DR fandom.
Common Tropes
- Black and White: Kamkura may be portrayed with black hair and Hinata may be portrayed with white hair. Although Hinata did have white hair during the last chapter of DR2, this may have not actually happened within reality. And Kamukura has never had black hair, it's just portrayed as black in the anime since he's always shown outside without light to shine through his hair. Canonically, they share a hair color.
- The same can be seen in Ishida x Ishimaru, another self-cest Danganronpa ship. These two may also be drawn to have white and black hair.
