Heinz Doofenshmirtz/Perry the Platypus, known mostly as Perryshmirtz or Doofenperry, is a popular pairing in the Phineas and Ferb fandom. They are each other's sworn enemies throughout the series, though they become more like friends as it goes on.
The ship is between Perry the Platypus, Phineas and Ferb's pet platypus, who has a double life as a secret agent and fights crime for the O.W.C.A. (Organization Without a Cool Acronym) when the boys are busy, and Heinz Doofenshmirtz, an evil scientist who has a seemingly endless supply of nefarious inventions (which he calls -inators) and wants to become ruler of the tri-state area, where the show takes place.
Heinz/Perry's popularity has varied considerably in the fandom at large due to it being interspecies enemyslash. As of 2024, it's the most popular PnF pairing on Archive of Our Own. It is also the main focal point of many Human Perry the Platypus fanworks, and some sister ships of Heinz/Perry are Professor Mystery/Peter the Panda and Doofcest (Heinz D./2nd Dimension Heinz D.)

Basis in Canon
- Heinz may join the O.W.C.A.
- Some fanworks have him join as Agent O, (standing for ocelot,) since he was raised by them canonically. He may also be a literal ocelot.
- Vanessa may play a major role in them improving their relationship from being enemies to something more friendly.
- A third party such as Professor Mystery or Peter the Panda may create tension in the relationship that leads to them apprenticing the other person more.
Fanon
- Vanessa, Heinz, Perry and Norm (a robot created by Heinz) is often seen as a found family.
- It may be seen as Perry's second family and one where he can freely be himself and not hide his secret agent identity.
- Perry may leave the O.W.C.A.
- Some fanworks have him leave due to being overworked; sometimes it's a conflict of interest to be with Heinz; often times it's both.
