Phineas and Ferb is an American musical-comedy cartoon that aired on the Disney Channel, in which a pair of step-brothers Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher have wacky adventures during their summer vacation. In the background, their pet Perry the Platypus is actually a secret agent assigned to block the nefarious plots of mad scientist Dr. Doofenschmirtz. Appealing aspects of the show included the stylized art (each main character's head is based on simple geometry), lack of mean/vicious motivations, and the creator's decision not to dumb it down for kids.
