Harry/Neville is the Harry Potter slash pairing of Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom. They are both in the Gryffindor house and in the same year.
Canon
In their early years, Harry and Neville are not especially close, but they are friendly. Neville is portrayed as a shy, somewhat clumsy student who struggles with magic, often earning ridicule from others. Harry, who feels like an outsider himself, doesn’t belittle Neville for his shortcomings. One early example of Harry's support for Neville occurs when Draco Malfoy throws away Neville’s Remembrall, and Harry retrieves it during his first flying lesson, which earns him a spot on the Quidditch team.
Their relationship grows from a polite, distant friendship into a bond forged through shared battles and experiences. By the end of the series, Harry holds Neville in high esteem, recognizing his bravery and leadership. Neville, in turn, respects Harry as a hero but also comes to understand his own worth.
