- Answering my own question: Okay, it's subtle, but it's a manip; SPN 1x21, 39 minutes in, Dean has been shifted to the left so his nose is touching the lighter green spot in the center. Which means we should either upload the actual screenshot or change the caption on the Sam/Dean page.--aethel (talk) 01:42, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
Possible Deletion
I think this image should be deleted, it is a screenshot from the series, and does not seem necessary for the article. It doesn't seem to highlighting anything in particular, and there is plenty of fan art on the page that could easily replace it -- Kingstoken (talk) 15:35, 15 October 2021 (UTC)
- Why? Is there a rule against including screencaps? Vid pages often have screencaps. The image shows the dynamic of the characters which is what the pairing is based on. --Doro (talk) 16:12, 15 October 2021 (UTC)
- Fanlore has a practice of using fannish imagery instead of official promos/screenaps, i.e. using fanart. Vid pages are usually an exception because they are trying to illustrate how those vids were constructed -- Kingstoken (talk) 19:45, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
- The original version of this image was a manip that was then replaced by a screencap of the scene from the show. If using a screencap is somehow objectionable - which I don‘t agree with; sometimes you need source imagery to make a specific argument - I suggest reverting the image to the original manip.
