FanloreProject talk:SF Fandom

From Fanlore

"Fandoms by Canon Type" refers to the format of the canon, not its genre; we've never created genre categories for the canons because Fanlore has a focus on fandom, so I would take out the directions for creating categories for Science Fiction Books, Science Fiction Movies. I also would prefer Category:Professional Artists when we need it.

P.S. Add pages for fandom historians like Jack Speer? --aethel (talk) 05:22, 7 February 2018 (UTC)

ITA, especially since fantasy and horror writers were lumped in with Science Fiction Writers. -- Baycitybomber (talk) 13:01, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
Yes, fandom historians would also be good. I've added the Professional Artists category. I'm not sure I understand why to remove the categories for genre books and movies; they're a big part of SF fandom. -- Elf (talk) 17:09, 10 February 2018 (UTC)

new category Faanfiction

Category:Faanfiction is now available. I could only find six pages. Some of them were described with the more modern term "fannish RPF", but not all of them looked like RPF.--aethel (talk) 22:28, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
