de.rec.tv.akte-x was a German language usenet discussion group dedicated to discussion of The X-Files and the other Carterverse shows like MillenniuM and The Lone Gunmen. It was one of the eight newsgroups about the show. Besides the two communities TXF.de, XFiles-Mania and the X-Files message board at the ProSieben homepage this was one of the major German-Speaking X-Files communities on the web.
It focused on postings of news about the show cast and crew, spoiler, announcement of new related websites people had created and fanfiction.
