DC Extended Universe (short: DCEU) is the shared universe that is the setting of the superhero films independently produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and based on characters that appear in American comic books by DC Comics.

The films are written and directed by a variety of individuals and feature large, often ensemble, casts. Several actors, including Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/Superman), Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Gal Gadot (Diana/Wonder Woman), Ezra Miller (Barry Allen/The Flash), Jason Momoa (Arthur Curry/Aquaman), Ray Fisher (Victor Stone/Cyborg) and Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), are set to appear in numerous films.
