Columbo is a long-running American police procedural crime television series starring a LAPD homicide detective, Lieutenant Columbo, which is known for wearing a rumpled beige raincoat, carrying a cigar, and driving an old Peugeot 403 car. He is also famous for his catchphrase, "Just one more thing." Columbo's casual actions and comments cause people people to underestimate him, something he uses to his advantage.
While his first name is never revealed, it may be "Frank," as seen on his police ID.
The show aired between 1968-1978, took a hiatus, and returned in 1989 to 2003. There was a poorly-received 13-episode spin-off titled Mrs. Columbo starring Columbo's wife, a character that was often mentioned but never seen in the original show.

doujinka SKYFiSH has produced five fanfics in the fandom, some of them being crossover with KOJAK, another well-known crime series. The stories are available for read on their website, on page Detective Columbo - Fanfics.
Columboposting
Columbo has a resurgence of popularity on the internet since about 2021.[1] Gianni Matragrano's skit in which Columbo investigates Light Yagami from Death Note gained particular popularity in late 2021.[2]
