cmshaw has written a lot of The Sentinel and Due South fan fiction, and I regret that she hasn't posted anything in a while. Her grasp of pre-"Sentinel Too" Jim and Blair is excellent, their rapport unshadowed by later developments on the show, and the sentinel-guide relationship is a matter of course. cmshaw's Blair doesn't doubt that he'll be able to reach Jim even when modern medicine has already pronounced him dead, and it's this unshakable confidence that makes this story a prime example of the kind of friendship this fandom stands for.[2]
