- Cliffjumper Lives AU: where a fix-it work has Cliffjumper not be killed by Starscream in the Prime canon. It can also apply to the 1984 cartoon series and the Michael Bay films universe. No Beta We Die Like Cliffjumper has also been coined.
- Cliffjumper and Bumblebee are Sparkbrothers: a popular headcanon where him and Bumblebee are sibling-coded. Both shared the same toy mold in the 1984 toyline, with only their color schemes being different. Some works focus on Cliffjumper feeling like the more neglected and less popular between him and Bumblebee.
- Jerk Cliffjumper: often in the "bro" kind of way. May be used to warn.
- Decepticon-magnet Cliffjumper: some fans believe Cliffjumper's kind of cursed to die, as he doesn't often live in Prime AUs and tends to get into Decepticon hot water in G1 cartoon works.
