On Subcatgories
Defining subcategories
The trilogies are self-explanatory but the other 3 categories have not been defined on their pages and I'm wondering what the differences are between them:
I thought Legends was the old EU and the EU category is for new EU material - but then New Jedi Order is in the EU category and not the Legends category. So I'm just a bit confused and wondering if someone who uses these categories can provide the defintions?--Auntags (talk) 21:36, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
Structure of Category
Also I noticed that Category:Star Wars Characters is contained in each of the Star Wars subcategories. Would it make more sense if the categories that contain pages related to all SW canons were only contained in only this category, Category:Star Wars? Because then we wouldn't have to update all of the subcategories ever time a new trilogy/era of canon comes along. So the category structure would be like this:
