Category talk:Role Playing

What is this category meant to cover? I think as is it is too broad and duplicates Gaming & Role Playing.--aethel (talk) 05:30, 26 March 2023 (UTC)

I think it was intended to give a category to online fandom RPGs, as opposed to Category:Tabletop RPGs or Category:LARP. Perhaps rename it to Fandom RPGs instead? Rossi (talk) 17:17, 8 June 2023 (UTC)

The issue here for me is moreso that the metacategory lumps Gaming & Roleplaying together — I don't think all roleplaying is necessarily gaming (though a lot of it is), and these two topics would be better served by having them as two separate categories with subcategories and pages that are in both categories. I would leave this category as is but move it out of Category:Gaming & Role Playing, rename that category to Gaming and then add the subcategories to both or one as needed. - Castille (talk) 02:50, 21 December 2024 (UTC)
