This category contains only four files, all of which look like official logos rather than fan-made logos. Seems to violate the spirit of Fanlore.--aethel (talk) 05:33, 26 March 2023 (UTC)

There are certainly old websites whose owners created title graphics for them. These obviously don't have the sort of wide distribution of official logos; but they served the same function, i.e visually striking identifiers. Admittedly for a much more limited audience. Sure, I would consider those logos, Greer Watson! If they are uploaded to fanlore (I'm ambivalent on whether we need to do that; I haven't worked on pages for any old fan websites) then this could be a useful category for them. I think we should distinguish between fan-made logos for things like fansites, and official logos for video games (which are what Pinky G Rocket has used the category for previously). -- Quaelegit (talk) 10:40, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

Fanlore doesn't seem to have an article on Logos, or Website Logos, or the like. What we do have already, at least for some websites, is a screencap of the main page. If there's a logo, then it can be seen at the top of the screencap. However, I've just uploaded the logo for www.fkfanfic.com (where the various screencaps are lower down in the article) and added it to the info box. That logo is now here in this category.
