Callmeri is a slash fan fiction writer, moderator and archivist who has been active in online fandom since 1999. She wrote extensively in the fandom for HBO's Oz and was one of the original members of (and, later, admin and archivist for) the Twisted Sisterhood discussion list and its fic-only sister list, TSXF. She also created and maintained Strange Bedfellows, a fansite singularly devoted to the Beecher/Keller pairing from Oz. The site served as an archive for Beecher/Keller fan fiction from the Twisted Sisterhood, TSXF and Cellblock 5 discussion lists. In addition to Oz, she was active in the Stargate Atlantis and Smallville fandom communities on LiveJournal. She was a frequent contributor to the Hardtime 100, Oz Lyric Wheel, McShep Match and SGA Santa fic challenges, and has served as an admin, writer and pinch hitter in the annual Oz Magi holiday fic exchange. She is the creator and moderator of Oz Recs, a fanfiction recommendation community on LiveJournal.
In March 2002, she created LeeTergesen.net , a website for fans of Lee Tergesen, the actor who played Tobias Beecher on Oz. In addition to curating news, photos and media, the site also housed a message board which became a busy discussion forum for fans of Mr. Tergesen and his various roles. In 2003, the site became the actor's "official" Internet home page and was moved to the URL leetergesen.com, with callmeri serving as the site's designer, administrator and moderator. "Ask Lee," a series of articles in which the actor answered questions submitted by fans, was a popular feature. Callmeri retired from working on the Lee Tergesen site in 2010.
